karmaspirit is an expression of my gratitude for a fortuitous life. The main aim of karmaspirit is Universal Peace. Somewhere along the line we have been encouraged to believe that life is too busy, there is no time for ourselves , "I'll be happy when...", or we have no control…… Sometimes the universe needs to take a stand. This may happen through some form of trauma either to our bodies or our security, it may be a life threatening occurrence or illness to ourselves or a loved one, where we are forced to really take a look at the way we are living or not living. For others it may be a constant nagging feeling of “is this all there is to my life?” Moments of Peace are available to all of us with every breath, every sunrise and sunset, every smile we receive, a fragrant flower, a warm shower or bath, a new season piece of fruit, art, poetry or music that moves us. Too many of us take these for granted. karmaspirit aims to insidiously install peaceful moments into everyones life and, like all the droplets of water that make a waterfall, so too can these peaceful moments grow within us and radiate out to create a universal peace. However, Universal Peace can never be achieved while we are all having issues with each other in our day to day lives. Peace cannot exist in the presence of hate, vengeance, revenge, jealousy and it is such a waste of energy. It has been said that it is like you taking poison and hoping the other person will die. If there is ANYONE in your life you have a 'prickly' relationship with, including yourself, consider giving it up from this moment. This also applies to negative attitudes you may have to any race, culture, religion or gender. You are not validating anyones actions, you are just refusing to carry the hurt, pain, anger, intolerance with you any longer. As the name suggests karmaspirit is also about the law of Karma. In a very general sense it is about cause and effect in our lives. The karmaspirit philosophy adopts the approach that what we say, do, think, read, consume has some effect on our lives. A distinction must be made here, this is not implying that we somehow deserve an illness, loss or trauma - no one does. The various pages on karmaspirit aim to provide you with information to assist you in making positive, responsible choices applicable to you to enable you to live a happy, peaceful, healthy life thus making a positive contribution to universal peace. |
